FAQ:
What is the proper technique for washing a car?:
Information:
1. You should always use official car wash soaps. Dish soap is not a proper soap to was your car with. I recomend using a name brand name car soap.

2. Always park you car out of direct sunlight when washing to prevent premature drying. Premature drying will lead to water spots and dirt streaks
3. Set everything you will need on a clean surface near the car. Material should include:
4. Fill you bucket with the proper mixtures of soap to water as directed by the soap manufactor.

5. Presoak the car with a gentle spray. A stream will grind the dirt and grit into the clear coat and cause micro scratches that can lead to premature clear coat failure.
6. Soak a large Washmitt in the soapy water, being certain to wash out any dirt in it, and begin applying it to the car.
7. Wash the car section by section, starting at the top around the car from the front to back moving lower and lower.
8. When the washmitt becomes dirty, rinse it in the bucket with plain water. This should be done very frequently.
9. After one section is washed, rinse it with the hose before moving on. You Don't want the soap to dry on the paint .
10. As you progress, keep the entire car wet, as this will prevent droplets from drying on the paint and leaving water-spots. You want to be able to dry the car with towels before it air-dries.11. Scrub the dirtiest parts of the car last (the rear, the lower body, the wheels) use a sponge the last 6 inches rather than a washmitt for this area. Use a long, skinny wheel-brush for cleaning the openings of the wheels. Use steel-wool soap-pads on the tires, one or two per wheel; they get filthy. It's also a good idea to use a separate sponge for the bottom 6" or so of the car's body, as this gets especially gritty.
12. Dry the vehicle with fresh towels. Terry or Microfiber13. After washing the car, its paint can be waxed and it's tires dressed with a product that makes them look like new.
